Water

2003 was the „UN International Year of Water“. The performances of the Vorarlberg participants in Lisbon were marked by this symbol.

Organizers: „Water is generally the symbol of life, but also of depth, the human soul and of cleaning. We see water as a reflection of freshness and inner youth independent of age – it represents the World Gymnaestrada with its young and young at heart participants all bubbling with vitality. Last but not least. Water together with other elements stands for a clean environment and we regard it as extremely important to protect and cultivate this treasure.“
