It was the composer Velerij Petasch who in 1996 committed Sergey Metelskiy to several concerts in Germany in with that showed him the way to Vorarlberg. In 1997 began his continuing studies in Feldkirch, which he graduated from with honors in 2003. Vorarlberg is to this day his home of choice.
